airToday we found out that three of their projects were featured in HOW Magazine’s International Design Annual. The Forum of Civics brochure for the River Oaks Garden Club, The Whole Truth brochure for non-profit, Adolescents in Recovery, and Savage’s own Branding Field Guide all won awards of Merit for design.

The Forum of Civics brochure was designed to commemorate the historical significance of the building and surrounding gardens; photographs and significant events in the building’s history are documented throughout.

field_guide1The Whole Truth brochure was designed by Ruth Ann Johnson with grant money won from Sappi’s Ideas That Matter initiative. It focuses on the challenges of teen addiction and the solutions Adolescents in Recovery (AIR) offers by bringing real meaning back into lives that had lost all hope. The format is a comprehensive guidebook educating the community about addiction and mental health disorders, telling personal success stories and demonstrating that recovery is possible through its program.

Branding: A Field Guide was created by Savage as a promotional brochure to communicate to clients and potential clients the importance of a strong, consistent brand. In the brochure, Savage explains the benefits of a good branding experience with rich text, a brand life cycle illustration, a humorous narrative, quotes from top branding professional and case studies.
